Account & Data Deletion.

This page explains how to delete your CreatorsBay account and the personal data associated with it. CreatorsBay is operated by Concept Crafters, a Partnership firm registered in India. You can request deletion either from inside the app or, if you cannot sign in, by email — no login required.

1. Delete From Inside the App

• Creators: open Profile → Account & Security → Delete account, enter your password and confirm.
• Brands: open Settings → Delete Account, enter your password and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent once confirmed.

2. Delete By Email (No Login Needed)

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, send an email to legal@creatorsbay.in from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and process it within 7 days (and no later than 30 days). We may ask for limited information to confirm your identity.

3. Disconnecting Instagram / Facebook & Deleting Meta Data

If you connected an Instagram or Facebook account, you can revoke CreatorsBay's access and delete the data we obtained from Meta (profile information, audience/account insights and content metrics) without deleting your whole CreatorsBay account:

• Revoke access: remove CreatorsBay from Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, or Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → Active. This immediately stops any further access.
• Request deletion: email legal@creatorsbay.in with the subject "Meta Data Deletion" from your registered email.

On disconnection or on your request, we delete the profile, insights and content-metric data we obtained from Meta for your account, except any records we are required to retain by law. Deleting your whole CreatorsBay account (Sections 1–2) also removes this Meta-sourced data.

4. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise your personal data, including:

• Your profile (name, username, email, phone, photo, bio, location).
• Creator data: social links, follower data, gallery/portfolio images, categories and pricing.
• Campaign participations and deal activity, reviews you posted, and support session tokens.
• Push-notification device tokens, so you stop receiving notifications.

5. What We Must Retain (and Why)

Some records are retained after deletion only where the law requires or to prevent fraud and resolve disputes:

• Transaction, invoice and tax records — retained as required under Indian tax and accounting law (which can require records to be kept for up to 8 years). These are kept in a minimised form and are not used to re-create your profile.
• Fraud-prevention and legal-hold records — limited information needed to comply with legal obligations or ongoing disputes.

Retained records are deleted at the end of their required retention period.

6. Before You Delete

• Withdraw your Wallet balance and ensure no payouts are pending — balances may be forfeited after deletion.
• Settle or close any active campaigns or deals.
• Deletion is irreversible — you cannot recover the account or its data afterwards. To use CreatorsBay again you would need to create a new account.

7. Confirmation

For email requests, we will confirm in writing once your account and eligible data have been deleted. In-app deletions take effect immediately.
